I am a systems-oriented engineer with over nine years of experience working in complex, safety-critical environments, currently pursuing a S.M in Engineering and Management as a Fellow in MIT’s System Design and Management (SDM) program. I completed my B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London and my M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley.

My career began in aviation engineering at Singapore Airlines (SIA), where I worked at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, logistics, finance, and operations, applying systems thinking to real-world challenges where processes, data, incentives, and people must align to deliver reliable outcomes at scale.

At SIA, I led cross-functional teams across Asia, the U.S., and Europe to modernize operational systems, improve freight and warehouse processes, streamline inspections, and redesign workflows embedded in legacy ERP environments. This work resulted in multi-million-dollar cost savings, significant reductions in lost or damaged components, and measurable gains in reliability, productivity, and resilience. Just as importantly, it reinforced my belief that sustainable operational improvement depends as much on trust, empathy, and shared understanding as it does on analytics and process design.

At MIT, I’m deepening this foundation through rigorous training in systems thinking, system dynamics, data-driven decision-making, and supply chain and operations management. While aviation shaped my career, my interests extend well beyond it — I’m actively exploring roles and research projects where complex physical and digital systems must work together reliably at scale.

I’m known for being steadfast under pressure, discerning in decision-making, genuinely curious, and optimistic about turning ideas into reality. If you are working on complex operational challenges or building systems that need to perform reliably in the real world, I would be glad to connect.

Research Interests

My area is Systems Architecture & Engineering for Complex Operational Networks, which asks: how do we architect socio-technical systems — spanning supply chains, transportation networks, and extreme-environment infrastructure — that stay reliable and adaptive as scale, uncertainty, and interconnectivity grow? Nearly a decade at Singapore Airlines taught me that most operational failures are not caused by any single broken part, but by misaligned interfaces between people, processes, and systems. My work explores how to design for that alignment:
